Study Overview

Interview Payments

If you are between the ages of 18 and 34, and have an infant under 6 months old, we'd love to talk to you to see if you are eligible to participate!

If you qualify, we can schedule an interview. The interview includes questions about your relationships, the stresses in your life, and the support you have. There are also questions about your mood and your childhood experiences with different stresses as well as questions related to your child’s development/behaviors.

 

We can interview you at one of three locations: East Lansing, Detroit, or Ann Arbor. The first 2 visits will occur when your infant is 4-6 months old. There is an opportunity to participate in a total of 4 interviews and complete questionnaires at home every 3 months.

We will pay you for your time for each of these interviews and other activities. For the first interview, you receive $100. If you participate in all study activities until your child is 4 years old, you can earn up to $675.

We will likely wrap up our recruitment of women for our study during the summer of 2024. If you are currently pregnant, you are more than welcome to complete the form below; however, it is very unlikely we will still be recruiting when you give birth. We will update this page when we have finished recruitment. Thank you for your understanding.
